Republic Wireless best prepaid plans in the US

Back in May, Republic Wireless announced it was switching up its plans with a new pricing structure and more service options. The US-based MVNO also revealed they would be adding several new phones, diversifying its previously limited portfolio, which had consisted of only the Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto E (2nd Gen). As promised, the new handsets have finally arrived!

If you found Republic Wireless' WiFi calling attractive and scoffed at its selection of compatible devices, you'll be happy with the latest members of the Republic Wireless family.

  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge – $799 (starting at $48 a month)
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 – $699 (starting at $42 a month)
  • Samsung Galaxy J3 – $179 (starting at $11 a month)
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 – $549 (starting at $33 a month)
  • Nexus 6P – $499 (starting at $30 a month)
  • Nexus 5X – $349 (starting at $21 a month)
  • Moto X Pure Edition – $349 (starting at $21 a month)
  • Moto G4 – $199 (starting at $12 a month)
  • Moto G4 Plus – $299 (starting at $18 a month)

As you can see, there's a pretty wide range when it comes to pricing, though there's still not too many options for those looking for sub-$200 devices. If the Moto G4 or Galaxy J3 don't catch your eye, considering holding out a little longer. Republic Wireless is currently testing and certifying other budget-friendly handset for inclusion in its roster. On top of that, Republic WIreless will let you bring your own devices as soon as early August.

We'll be sure to bring you more details on that once we know more. What do you think of Republic Wireless' enhanced selection? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.
