If you've recently been having fun playing around with photo editing application, Prisma on your Android smartphone, you may have noticed a key missing feature – video support. Well, it looks like the wait is almost over as Prisma co-founder Alexei Moiseenkova has promised to introduce a new tool inside the app "in the next several weeks" to allow you to edit video clips in the same artistic style.
Top Android Phones:
Essentially, Prisma uses artificial intelligence algorithms to turn your photographs into various styles of art using any one of the 30 available artistic styles. Even if you're clueless about technology, the app makes it effortless to turn your mundane photos into works of art and share them on social media including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Right now, you can't use Prisma to apply these unique effects to your videos, though the company has confirmed that it already has the technology and is in the process of updating their "computing infrastructure." Speaking to Bloomberg, Moiseenkova said that the company was working on a tool that would allow users to apply the same artsy effects on short video clips and the technology would be rolled out in the coming weeks.
Adding video editing would certainly allow Prisma to standout amongst other robust photo editing applications for Android such as Google's Snapseed, Photo Editor Pro, and Adobe Photoshop Express. Let us know in the comments below if you think you'll have more fun after video editing capability becomes available in Prisma.
