Oxygen OS 3.2.2 update rolling out to the OnePlus 3

oneplus 3 review aa-5

The OnePlus 3 is a solid device that brought with it significant improvements over its predecessor. However, the device is not without its issues, with OnePlus 3 owners facing problems particularly on the software side of things. OnePlus has done a good job with sending out software updates to address these concerns, and the latest one, that brings the Oxygen OS version to 3.2.2, continues to do so.

The latest update resolves the following issues –

  • Improved notification management in doze.
  • Addressed alert slider/silent mode issue.
  • Disabled fingerprint sensor while in pocket.
  • Added NFC toggle in quick settings.
  • Improved noise cancellation in video recording.
  • Updated 4K video recording codec.
  • Added latest security patches and various optimizations.

A lot of these issues have been reported in various forums, and in our discussion of some of the problems OnePlus 3 owners face, so it's great to say OnePlus play an active role in continuing to further improve the experience that is available with this great smartphone. As always, the rollout will be staggered, so you may have to wait a few days before the OTA update makes its way to you.
