Material Design is the user interface style and language that Google launched for app developers in 2014. More and more Android apps have incorporated ideas based on these interfaces and ideas. This week, Google launched a new web site, along with a new set of tools, that it hopes will be used by developers to make even more Material Design apps.

The new site is located at Material.io, and Google says it will be used to  help support the design language. This will be the place that the company will release new tools, updates, tutorials and more.  Google is also releasing some new design tools at the same time. One of them is Gallery, which will allow app development teams to look and organize their design ideas in one place. Members can upload app design prototypes to Gallery, and other team members can not only look at them but offer comments on those designs.

Another new tool is Stage, which Google says will offer developers "more dynamic, intentional, and systematic workflow for crafting digital experiences."  Finally, the new Remixer tool lets developers make quick changes to an app's interface right on their device.  While Gallery and Stage are only available as part of an early access program for select teams at the moment, the Remixer tool is live right now.
