Under the hood, it packs a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display is great for media consumption, and a 90Hz refresh rate provides a smooth scrolling experience. The display has a max brightness of 600nits, and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The Oppo Find X5 Lite is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. On the back, there’s a triple camera setup, headlined by a 64MP primary shooter and backed by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. Selfies and video calling duties are handled by a capable 32MP wide-angle shooter. The phone packs a 4,500mAhm, which is enough to get you through the day, and when you need to recharge the phone, it only takes about 31 minutes to fully charge the device from 0% to 100% using the 65W SUPERVOOC charger. And since it’s a generation old, you can snag it at a good discount. It’s more premium than the Reno 7 5G, featuring an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. You get a large 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits peak brightness. The Find X3 Neo is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, which, although two years old at this point, is quite powerful and can easily handle intensive gaming and demanding tasks without breaking a sweat. You also get a whopping 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
The Find X3 Neo offers a versatile camera system: a 50MP primary shooter, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Over on the front, there’s a 32MP selfie shooter. Although the phone uses an LCD, it’s a high-quality panel that gets plenty bright and offers great color reproduction. If you’re tight on budget, the Oppo A76 is another great budget-friendly option that costs less than the Oppo K10 5G and offers a decent set of specs. Both phones share many similarities. They have an identical display, similar designs, and the same battery and charging speed. On the front, the Oppo A76 features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, 100% coverage of DCI-P3, and 600nits max brightness. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS storage. The camera setup is a step down from the K10 5G. You get a 13MP main shooter, a 2MP depth lens, and an 8MP selfie camera. A large 5,000mAh battery keeps the show running, and you also get a 33W fast charger inside the box. If you’re looking for a 5G phone, you’ll have to look elsewhere, as the A76 only supports 4G LTE. For biometrics, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock. Best Oppo phone you can’t buy: OPPO Find N
It’s a shame Oppo doesn’t sell the Find N outside of its home country because it’s one of the best foldable smartphones out there. We had the pleasure to review it last year and were really impressed. It has the best form factor of all foldables right now. It’s not too big like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Huawei Mate ̣X2 nor too small like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Motorola Razr. Thanks to its more traditional aspect ratio and compact size, the Oppo Find N is much easier to type on and carry around. And unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Find N folds completely flat and doesn’t show much of a display crease. It features a 7.1-inch flexible OLED main display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5.5-inch outer AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone packs Snapdragon 888 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB flash storage. The rear camera setup features a 50MP primary shooter, a 16MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 13MP telephoto lens. The Find N has a 32MP selfie camera on both the front and inner display. It has a 4,500mAh battery with 33W wired and 15W wireless charging support. The phone uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs ColorOS 12 out of the box.
