Cyber Monday 2016 is full of online discounts and deals for tech gift buyers to sift through, and one of the better ones is over at Best Buy today. You can snag the Verizon prepaid version of the Moto G4 Play for a mere $34.99 right now from the retailer's website. That's a huge $50 price cut from its normal $84.99 cost.

While you can purchase the phone from Best Buy without having to sign up for service with Verizon, it's likely that it is locked onto the carrier, at least for a few months. However, this is an excellent price for a second phone in case your primary device fails, or if you just want to use it at home on your Wi-Fi network.
As a reminder, the Moto G4 Play has a 5-inch 720p IPS-LCD display, a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot to add up to 256G of additional storage. It also has an 8MP rear camera and a 5PM front-facing camera, along with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. We gave it a review of 7.5/10 back in September, but that was when it was priced at $149.99. This Cyber Monday price tag at Best Buy makes it a much more affordable, and desirable, lower-end Android phone.
